Welcome to my blog!

Hello folks, I've been meaning to set up a blog for years, before blogging became as common and easy as it is now. But I could never figure out the heads and tails of it and was intimidated by the whole process. Please bear with me as I get used to this and the layout.

So I hope this blog will be useful to all the ladies out there who love makeup, love product, or those who are intimidated by makeup and everything that's out there. I hope to enlighten and share my favorite products, tips, and tricks to help you choose the best thing for you and hopefully save some money while doing so.

So that said, here's my first review:
Korres Quince Lip Butter

"A buttery lip balm that melts on the lips and offers a shiny, tinted finish. The combination of Shea butter and Rice wax offers deep hydration and softness. Dermatologically tested, mineral oil free, silicone free, propylene glycol free, ethanolamine free."

Shampoo & Conditioner: Ojon Ultra Hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner/Ojon Tawaka Shampoo and Conditioner.

Styling products: MOP Leave-in conditioner, Ojon Revitalizing Mist

Shower Gel:

Body moisturizer: I skip this step a lot. I hate putting moisturizer on my body. If I do it's Perlier Shea Butter Body Cream or Philosophy Pure Grace Body Moisturizer.

Deodorant: Don't use daily but if I use it's Tom's of Maine in Lavender

Fake Tan: yuck, no way.

Cleanser: Philosophy Purity Made Simple or DHC Deep Cleansing oil

Eye makeup remover: don't use but recommend DHC Deep Cleansing Oil which takes off ALL makeup. Also Kiss me Mascara doesn't require remover. So I don't need it.

Exfoliator: Philosophy Vitamin C Microdelivery peel, Serious Skin Care C-scrub. Same thing. Love the Clarisonic machine as well.

Primer: Tricia Sawyer Skin Balancing Water primer.

Foundation: Cinema Secrets Ultimate Foundation-- usually used by makeup artists but so pigmented yet non-cakey or thick.

Foundation brush: Tricia Sawyer foundation brush.

Concealer: Laura Mercier Secret Concealer in #2

Powder: Laura Mercier Translucent Loose powder

Blusher: Whatever's soft and pink. Shu Uemura, Tarte... I hate Nars Orgasm.

Bronzer: Tricia Sawyer Alive Cream

Highlighter: Don't use.

Eyeshadow base: Urban Decay Primer Potion

Eyeshadows: Shu Uemura are the best

Eyeliner: Shu Uemura or Stila Smudge pot.

Eyelash curler: Shu Uemura, of course

Eyelash base: Shiseido Lash Base or Lancome Le Cils base.

Mascara: Kiss me Mascara in Black, love the tube technology and how it never smudges. Not the best for volume or length but best for those who have watery or greasy eyes.

Lipstick: Givenchy Rouge Interdit lipstick in Absolutely Irresistable Red. Makes you feel glamorous instantly. Also Carmindy's line by Sally Hansen in Sparkling Berry.

Lipgloss: I am a lip gloss o holic. MAC lipglasses, Tarte double ended lipglosses, you name it. I love gloss.

Nail Color: Laura Mercier in Caviar Dreams.
